Mr. Lumen a slut? From what I understand, the marriage of Mr. Lumen and Maryann (now ex) at the time when he met Julia was over. They sleep in separate bedrooms, barely talked to each other, Maryann rejected Savannah and her half bro/sis and mother. And when Mr. Lumen wanted to go places she refuses to go. Separate lives, broken marriage. Although, they were always perceived as the “perfect couple”, little did the public eye knew what was really going on behind closed doors. Mr. Lumen has been wanting to leave Maryann after the 3rd year of their marriage. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed to have a brain tumor. She’s okay now. Mr. Lumen being a public figure, could not just leave her with fears of being labeled as “the man who left his sick wife”. Plus, the fact that she is “loved” by the “society”. A good corporate wife. She used to be the PR girl working for Mr. Lumen when they met, and was doing a great job for his radio station at the time. Dealing with the media, reporters and was also very attentive to Savannah. She takes her out shopping whenever she would visit Manila from the states. Ambitious? Unfortunately for Mr. Lumen, he was stuck with her for the next 8 years, total 11 years. His secretary and close friends knows how miserable he was and was waiting to be “rescued”. From what I hear, he is a good man. Unfortunately, like some unhappy marriages, he was trapped.

Just think of what bad gossip Maryann could have asked her media friends to spread about Julia. So don’t believe everything you just hear about. Get your facts. I also, heard that Maryann is the type that will only befriend you if you’re somebody. She even talks down to her maid. In fact, before she married Mr. Lumen, I hear that she became mistress to a few men. Who’s the slut/whore now? Julia, being a model was approached by many DOMs but she never became one.

(cont.) … she was visiting Manila from Hawaii when she met Mr. Lumen. She just came from a very abusive relationship. I remember when she was telling me about Mr. Lumen’s pursuit but he was married. She made it clear to him that she is not, never was and never will be a mistress. And so that made him decide that it’s time to finally divorce Maryann. Despite of the first thing that people see, the visual mismatch, she tells me that they’ve been getting along very well for 4 years now. You should know, if you had enough experience on love, that people fall in love regardless of their facial symmetry and age. It’s the emotional and intellectual connection my dear.

Julia’s singing? I agree, she needs a lot of improvement at the time when she just started. Perhaps it’s because she was pushed to singing in public way too soon, she was not ready. But it’s part of her training. I think they were trying to force her to face her fear… stage fright. She only started singing 3 months before she got her 1st singing job. Unlike Savannah, I heard she’s been singing since she was 16?

Speaking of Savannah, we thought she has good potential. Lovely voice, lovely face. But I hear that she has bordeline personality/ bipolar disorder? And has been in/out of rehab and is a druggie? Her mother and half siblings have mental illnesses. Her half sister is seeing a psychiatrist and is on medication for her anger management and the 32 year old half brother is still a dependent. It’s sad that the mother has faulty genes that was passed on to her kids. So you see, fear of abandonment is a major concern, especially for people like Savannah with that mental condition. Poor girl. She has a lot of issues with everybody. Her mother, sis/bro, Maryann, bf & her Dad! I think, any woman who will become Mrs. Lumen will affect Savannah, given her intense mental illness. She just happened to be Julia Duncan. Now, are you also jealous of Julia?

Julia stealing the Lumen name? Did you know that Savannah was an accidental child and that she was born out of wedlock? Her father was, in fact, trying to break away from her mother, who used to be a playboy magazine cover girl, and was wild during her time, and was a clingy ex gf. Julia tells me that when Mr. Lumen met her, she parties a lot, during drugs and so he thought that she is not the wife material. After they broke up, she would stalk Mr. Lumen when he started dating other women and would talk to the girl and he ends up not seeing the girl anymore. She would also give him guilt trips and would even slit her wrist to get attention and pity. And did you know that Savannah was conceived out of deceit? After a few weeks being dateless, her mother visited him wearing sexy outfits (i was told that she would walk in a bar wearing a bra-less sheer blouse) and wham, Mr. Lumen being a man, dateless for weeks, she got pregnant for the 2nd time. The 1st pregnancy was aborted but the 2nd time was too soon to get another operation. He was unhappy about the pregnancy and did not even supported the 1st 3 months of her pregnancy and she would even smoke! Maybe she was desperate. She was a mother of 2 (from 2 different fathers who abandoned them), Mr. Lumen was a successful manager of a company. Can’t blame her. But despite fathering an unwanted child, he did not abandon the child. Although Mr. Lumen did not marry her mother, Savannah became a Lumen because he happened to be in the hospital when she was born. So who’s stealing the Lumen name now? Savannah was not Even meant to be born to begin with, but Julia was proposed marriage to by Mr. Lumen and he gave her that name.

As for Mr. Lumen’s marriage to Maryann, did you know what really happened? I heard that he married her out of a tease from a good friend/business partner, and not because he proposed to her. They’ve been dating for a few years and when Mr. Lumen sold the radio station 88.3, they were going to Vegas to celebrate. Mr. Lumen’s friend, who’s wife happens to be a close friend to Maryann, said “since were going to vegas, why don’t you two get married?!”. He was having a bad tummy, weak, and did not want to hurt Maryann’s feelings and so, you guessed it… he said “ok”. And guess what, she happens to bring along a wedding dress. A set up? Mr. Lumen’s close friends knows that he did not intend to marry her because he was not in love with her. In fact, Julia told me that when he filed for divorce, Maryann said to Mr. Lumen, “I’m sorry” for the 1st time and was asking for forgiveness. But it was too late, Julia tells me that he would even ask Maryann to go to a marriage counsellor together but she refused to go.

Now you see what was really going on in the Lumen household. These are facts. Please don’t be blinded by kind words, music, good times and tears from a seemingly helpless female. You should know better. As you could see, from the mother alone, this family and the lady you adored are manipulators, drama queens and they have mental illnesses. Be careful.

I just feel sorry for Julia that she is caught in the middle. A lot of women dislike her because she is a beautiful person inside out. If you only knew her core self, you’d probably slap yourself for making mean comments. I also heard that Julia once filed to divorce Mr. Lumen after only 6 months in their marriage. She was unhappy because Mr. Lumen is very possessive and insecure. But they are OK now. So you see, she is also going through her battles in life as we all do. So before you pass judgment, please know the facts first. If you are happy with your life, good for you. But please don’t bring down other people by talking behind their backs. That is a sign of ill character and you know you’re above that. Ask yourself whose the bitch and who will get bad karma now. Good luck to your life.

I’m actually scared about what will happen after this. All this sudden hype about being proud to be Filipino and wanting to do more for our country might die way too soon. I’m really hoping that we as Filipinos do not rely on icons like Cory to awaken our sense of patriotism. It should be something that’s imbibed in us.
