Chasing executive boards

For some reason, this coverage has been picking up faster than I expected, even if it seems slower than usual. If last year I was trying my hardest to find an RTR for both parties’ executive boards, today I somehow found them effortlessly. It seems I didn’t have to sing Adele’s Chasing Pavements, only with different lyrics: should I give up, or should I just keep chasing EBs?
It being a Wednesday, it’s supposedly the point in the election period where the first two days’ speeches and mind-drilling get more concrete. In last year’s campaigns, it’s at this point when we finally see some printed matter from both parties, as they brace for some questions regarding their plans for the DLSU student population. This year, we do have some printed matter – Tapat has released their GPOAs, and in CLA’s case, late into the afternoon. And in pretty terrible printing, I should say.
But, personally, today was the day I dedicated to actually listening to the executive boards of both parties speak. Analyzing the achievements and personalities, inevitably, of both line-ups could only get you so far. Pitch-wise, they did have something to say, but the question is, did the message get to the voters?
